Tiny house—endless possibilities

Make space, without making a mess

Best of all, if you move, your tiny house moves with you. Flexible, luxurious, and mobile, it’s the smart way to add space and freedom without the hassle of a permanent new build or renovation.

The perfect balance of compact and comfortable

Top Tiny House Questions

How much can I customise?

Our designs aren’t set in stone—but they are thoughtfully developed, with many of our layout choices coming from real-world experience. We’ve figured out what works in a small space and use those principles as a strong foundation.

That said, there’s definitely room to tweak things. Whether it’s finishes, layout adjustments, or storage ideas, we’re always happy to chat through what’s possible.

Just bear in mind that in a compact footprint, even small changes can have a knock-on effect. We don’t offer completely bespoke designs, but we’ll always do our best to make your space feel like your own.

Can I choose different materials?

We’re proud to use high-quality materials as standard—no chipboard or vinyl anywhere. Just solid timbers, premium ply, and carefully chosen finishes that look good and last well.

Given we build everything from scratch and buy our core materials in bulk, we’re able to keep costs competitive despite using top-end components.

We can usually accommodate material swaps, but it may add to the overall cost depending on the request.

Are tiny houses on a chassis road legal?

Yes—our tiny houses are built to be fully road legal in the UK.

Each one is constructed on a certified trailer chassis and comes with its own VIN number, meaning it can be registered and transported legally on public roads. Under UK law, they’re classed as caravans, which helps simplify the rules around towing and placement.

In most cases, tiny houses don’t require ongoing registration. If you’re only moving it occasionally, you can obtain a temporary movement permit, which is straight forward to arrange.

How does the toilet work in a tiny house?

You’ve got two main options when it comes to toilets:

1. Traditional flush toilet
If your tiny house is parked on a property with existing plumbing, you can install a standard flush toilet and connect it to the main sewer or septic system. It works just like a regular bathroom—flush and forget.
You’ll just need to make sure your system can handle the extra load (most can), and be prepared for some groundwork to connect the waste and drainage. Depending on the setup, installation might cost around £1,000.

2. Composting toilet
Want to go fully off-grid? A composting toilet is the way to go. Modern versions are clean, low-maintenance, and surprisingly odour-free. Plus, they’re a great option if you’re placing your tiny house somewhere remote or temporary.

Can I go off-grid with my tiny house?

Absolutely—you can! There are four key things to think about when going off-grid in a tiny house: power, water, toilet, and drainage. Luckily, there are great solutions for all of them.

Power: We can refer you to one of our partners for a full solar and battery setup—perfect for generating and storing your own energy.

Toilet: Go with a composting toilet for a self-contained, low-maintenance option that doesn’t need plumbing.

Water: Add a rainwater collection system with pumps and filters to provide your own water supply.

Drainage: Off-grid drainage options are available too, depending on your setup and location.

Can you install my house for me?

Yes—we’ve got you covered.

We offer a full installation service, which includes levelling your tiny house and securing it using individually adjustable piers and a tie-down system. The result? A setup that’s rock solid and built to last.

To make things look even better, the drawbar is removable, and the wheels can come off—so your home doesn’t look like it’s sitting on a trailer.

We also offer bespoke decking, designed to suit your space and style, creating a beautiful outdoor area that connects seamlessly with your tiny home.

Need help with utility connections? We can manage that too.
